Speakers Temmuz Yigit Bezmez
Temmuz Yigit Bezmez is a young professional expert on government relations and overseas growth of companies. Currently, Temmuz is the Head of Project and Business Development at the French Chamber of Commerce in Turkey – a strong pillar of the vast network of CCI France International. He holds a BA degree in Political Science from Galatasaray University in Istanbul and completed an exchange year at Sciences Po Paris. He has completed his Master's degree in International Trade and Economics from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne as a full-scholarship recipient from the Eiffel Excellence Programme. Previously, Temmuz has worked at the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) –as the Coordinator of Asia-Pacific Business Councils Coordinator. He contributed to Turkey's trade and investment ties within the region and its Asia Anew foreign policy strategy. He has also worked at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) in Geneva. He has taken part in developing policy guidelines and capacity building activities to achieve SDGs No.10 and No.11. His op-ed pieces focusing on different issues and trends have been published on various respected platforms such as The Diplomat, South China Morning Post, Business Diplomacy Magazine, APAM, and the US-based think-tank Turkish Heritage Organization. His article entitled "Secure Cement of The Historical Amity Under the Shadow of Diplomatic Tensions: Economic Relations Between Turkey and France" to be published in June 2022 by Springer. He is also the co-author of the book "French Politics and Foreign Policy.
